September has flown by....

Ugh! I am so disappointed in myself. I have completely fell off the diet and exercise bandwagon! I so desperately need to get back on but I am lacking the determination. It is so hard. Please pray for me!! ;)

I just recently got a job working in the Kidz Club at Gold's Gym. I have not started yet but I am excited! I will get my membership for free, my boys can come with me and the hours are great! I will start in a couple weeks once my parents leave town.

On that note, my parents are coming in for a visit this Saturday and they will be here a week! I can't wait to see them even though it has only been almost 2 months since I have seen them. The boys are really excited to see their grandparents!

Duston is settling into his job....starting to gain some accounts! YEEHAW! He is doing great!

Aydan just turned 4 this past Monday! Boy, I can't believe we have a 4 year old! I made some cookies for him to take to his class on Tuesday! The kids really enjoyed that. I made little "hamburger" cookies....made with 2 Nilla Wafers, 1 Keebler Grasshopper (Mint) cookie, Red & Green frosting (made to look like ketchup and either pickles or lettuce), a dab of honey for the top "bun" with a few sesame seeds sprinkled on top. They turned out really cute. We are going to have a birthday party for Aydan this Sunday while my parents are here! It should be a lot of fun!

Weston is doing great! He is really becoming quite the talker...not as much as Aydan though! I don't think anyone can top Aydan's talking! LOL! He is such a "solid" boy! We think he will be bigger than Aydan here sooner or later! Haha! He's our little football player.

We recently added a new addition to the family, a puppy. We named him Harley...he is now 12 weeks old...and growing on the family. I am learning how hard it is to manage having a puppy with two young children....what fun! He is a good puppy though...so it makes it a little easier. We are told from the SPCA (we "rescued" him) that he is a Beagle mix...with what???? Well, we aren't sure with what....a little frustrating if you ask me! He resembles a Lab in the face but he is really scrawny....and Labs are thick but who knows? I sure hope he won't be too big!

We recently dealt with Hurricane Ike and being without water & power for a whole week! It doesn't sound like it would be that bad but just TRUST me...it is! We didn't suffer any damage here thank God! But there are a lot of trees down everywhere! We are so thankful because we have a handful of trees right next to our home. None of them fell on our house! Whew!

Well, I think that is the update for now! Take care and God bless! Until next time..............
